Bonnie Boyce-Wilson

Class of 2014

I was raised in Colorado, received a BA degree at the University of Southern Colorado and Masters degree in Social Work at the University of Denver. My career employment was in the field of child protection, where I worked my way up to serve as Child Welfare Division Director at the Colorado State Dept. of Human Services. I was involved in drafting legislation and working closely with and testifying before the Colo. legislature.
In AZ, I am active in the League of Women Voters and the American Association of University Women and have served as Public Policy chair and registered lobbyist.I have also taught at the graduate schools of social work at both ASU and the University of Denver, teaching practice and policy. I consider myself a political activist. I am married with children and 5 grandchildren, active in my church and enjoy biking, hiking and ceramics.
